The cemetery was in ruin in the year 2000 when members of NFHS surveyed the cemetery and compiled this publication. The few remaining headstones lay broken and neglected and some graves were indicated only by an outline of rocks and stones. Residents of Teralba recalled that a fire had come through the area many years ago and burn a lot of wooden crosses that marked a number of graves, their messages being lost forever. Some Teralba residents have loved ones interred here. Others still recall the cemetery when it was well kept.
For many years the cemetery was not easily accessible and the area had been used as a dumping ground for many decades. Access was only by a steep walk or by four-wheel drive. Now a major housing subdivision sits adjacent to the cemetery and access to the site is easy. The developers have created a heritage bush park in the area once scattered with graves and headstones. Almost no graves can be identified.
The publication identifies many graves and burials in the cemetery and contains images of some graves taken in and before 2000.
