Customer service policy
The NFHS is committed to providing reliable customer service. We endeavour to make sure that all items listed on our website are available and that pricing is true and correct. In the event that an ordered item is not available or we are unable to fulfil your order within our stated time period, we will notify you within seven (7) business days to arrange a backorder or a full refund.
Please choose carefully. Sample pages are provided for viewing displaying an overview of the contents of each Publication. We do not normally give refunds if you simply change your mind or make a wrong decision. You can choose between a refund or exchange where items are faulty, have been wrongly described, or are different from what you purchased on the website upon the return of the item within a month from the date of dispatch.
Consumer data policy
The NFHS understands that privacy is important to you, and is committed to complying with the National Privacy Principles (NPPs), which are contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Privacy Act). The NPPs govern how organisations in the private sector handle your personal information (which is basically information that can identify you).
What information do we collect and how do we use it?
We do not collect personal information on our Website. In order to do business with you, only information necessary to process your order is collected by the ‘Square’ company.
Details sent by you to our email address (usually including your name, title, organisation, postal address, email address and contact number/s) requesting information on publications and any other activity that constitutes your engagement with the NFHS is not kept and is deleted once your enquiry is completed.
We do not collect your financial information.
We do not send advertising materials to you.
Whenever you use our website, or any other website, the computer on which the web pages are stored (the Web server) needs to know the network address of your computer so that it can send the requested web pages to your Internet browser. The unique network address of your computer is called its ‘IP address’, and is sent automatically each time you access any Internet site. From a computer’s IP address, it is possible to determine the general geographic location of that computer but otherwise it is anonymous.
We do not keep a record of the IP addresses from which users access our site except where you have specifically provided us with information about yourself, in which case we also record your IP address for security purposes. An example of this would be when proceeding to a checkout to finalise an order you may wish to make. After completing the form provided, your IP address will be stored along with a transaction number that allows us to track your order.
Will your personal information be given to anyone else?
The NFHS does not keep, sell, rent or trade personal information about purchasers to or with third parties.
How to access and correct your personal information
We do not receive personal information about any person purchasing through our website. Member information is kept on a dedicated computer and accessed only by the Membership registrar. No other person accesses Member information.
