In conjunction with the research and writing of They Sent Me North: Female Convicts in the Hunter (2019) members of the NFHS undertook to participate in the Australia-wide Roses from the Heart Female Convict Bonnets initiative.

This 32 page booklet in full colour guides the reader to places for finding information about service personnel from the well-known to the lesser-known local resources.

Members are able to borrow books from our library now it’s open for general use. ‘Click and Collect’ is still available.
