Do you have a serviceman or woman in your family whose story deserves to be shared with others? We are looking for stories of service either on the home front or in any theatre of war.

Tuesday 7th June – Monthly Meeting Day.
Sale will start at 1.00 pm and resume after the meeting ends. Come early to grab your choice of bargains and support the Society. All income goes back into resources.
Guest speaker and member Julie Keating will be talking about Novocastrians’ lives in the 1800s so it will make for a very interesting afternoon.

Friday, 3 June, we will meet at the Dungog Museum, at 105 Dowling Street, at 10am. After viewing the Museum we will walk down the street and a guide will come with us to give the history of the buildings.

On Thursday, 26 May we will hold a fundraising morning tea for the Cancer Council’s Daffodil Day.

A lot of the courses that were planned for 2021 were unable to be held due to the lockdowns. So these are now planned to be run in 2022.

15 May 2022. The focus is on DNA. 10.00am – 11.00am An introduction to DNA. 11.30am – 12.30pm Using colours to group your DNA results. 12.30pm – 1.30pm Using DNA results and Mirror Trees to find missing ancestors.

Friday, 6 May, we will travel to Rookwood Cemetery and will be met by a guide for a Ships and Shipwrecks Tour of the cemetery.
