Dungog Trip 3 June 2022

On Friday, 3 June, we will travel to Dungog, meeting at the Dungog Museum, at 105 Dowling Street, at 10am. There is a small coffee shop just across the road if you need to fuel up. After viewing the Museum (a $5.00 donation to enter) we will walk down the street and a guide will come with us to give the history of the buildings, a cost of $3.00 (so bring $8.00 with you to enter the museum and take part in the ramble).

We can view the history of the area, check out burials and the local newspapers covering the area. The Main Street is basically two blocks to walk, and the local historical society has placed plaques on the buildings of interest.

Then we will have lunch at one of the local cafes, or pubs or clubs and then we are free to visit a number of specialist boutiques and shop to your heart’s content.

If you wish to attend, please contact [email protected] or text me on 0427577598. It should be a great day. You might need a warm jacket or jumper, dependent on the weather. Hope to hear from you soon. Pat.
